The Rainbow Bridge Poem.

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

In loving memory of Princess Monosso

This is a tattoo that Princess' daddy (Justin) drew in memory of her and that is her paw print in ink

Loyal friend right from the start
It wasn't long til you had my heart
But now it's breaking 'cause we had to part
You've left your paw print upon my heart

You'll wait for me above
And until we meet again you'll have my love
All the happy times we shared
Every day was better because you were there

Your stubby tail, your bark, your snore
I'll miss these things forever more

So rest in peace my Princess
I will never forget
The one who was my first true pet.

-- From Daddy

My Princess, i loved you from the moment i saw your little face, and i will always love the little bulldog who stole my heart. When our paths crossed we were both in need of rescue, and like destiny in some fairy tale, the rest was history. I had myself a Princess. You left your paw print on my heart and our times together in my mind, they will live with me always and forever there to remind me that you're still right here with us.

Love, Daddy

From Mommy,
Princess, my mamas, i remember the first time i saw you and i fell in love and that was the summer of 2007! You were the cutest thing i had ever seen! Such a loving and funny personality! And soooo SMART! EVERYONE fell in love with you as soon as they saw your face! My lil moo cow :] and then you left us too suddenly on March 5, 2010 and your took a piece of my heart with you. I always loved how vocal you were my dirty laundry queen :] you would whine and groan and complain when you wanted something and daddy would whine back at you and you'd answer him! SOO FUNNY! And your tricks! BANG BANG! and you would drop down and roll over! it was the coolest trick id ever seen!! :] But always so calm and cool and collected just chillin in the corner all curled up with your legs tucked under you and your face smashed in the ground snoring so loud that it'd keep me up at night (only at first :] ) And you always loved sun bathing with me in the back yard ! you loved the hot weather! All your lil qwerks, I miss them everyday. Bronx misses you a lot too! I know he was a lil rough with you sometimes but he just wanted to play and i know that you loved him a lot and he loved you! Its so quiet at night without your nails clicking on the kitchen floor or your snoring or you sneaking into the bathtub to try to lick some water from the faucet :] (SOO SMART) But ill miss you the most along with your stubborn attitude and little old lady bark :] watch over us mamas, we love you and miss you so much! we'll never forget you because youve left your big bully paw prints on our hearts! mommy loves you!

Love, Your Allie
