The Rainbow Bridge Poem.

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

In Loving Memory of Junior

Junior,

Thank you for all the love that you gave to us! You came in to our life at a time when we were hurting and you provided love and healing to us all. You were so kind and happy all of the time! We're going to miss you so much! The way you would sit up for treats and snore at night and chase after any dog that you saw on the TV. We know that you're in a better place and we look forward to seeing you there someday. Until then, stay happy and keep wagging your little nub of a tail.

Love, Bill, Lola, and Billy

In Loving Memory of Rose Bud

Our Rose Bud

We lost you so suddenly, you just turned ten
We miss everything about you
Your sweet face, you were such a friend

We miss you coming for your snack every night very much
Your son Utley misses you licking his face and ears
So many tears
Your sweet touch

We will remember you so happy in your king size bed
Chewing on your bone
Sometimes white and sometimes red

You loved us as we loved you beyond measure
Our Rose Bud
Our treasure

Forever in our hearts

Born 5/24/04, sadly she passed on 8/8/14

Missed by Jack, Eileen and Utley

In Loving Memory of Rambo

In memory of our beloved Rambo, he found us in the beginning of July, he filled our house with laughter and love, from his silly noises to his cuddle hugs he gave and free kisses. He was full of personality, he touched everyone he met, brought smiles upon everyone’s faces and made everyone laugh with just one look. He is so handsome, our Ramman we would say. He left us very young, but as much as we filled his life with happiness he filled ours with love and memories we will never ever forget. He was our heart, our family, our everything. He now touches everyone in heaven, he just learned high fives, so I’m pretty sure he is teaching it to all the other Bullies, and if they already know it, I’m sure he is having a blast giving them. We love you Rambo forever and ever, more than the world, you showed us a breed of dog that is so special. Love your Family, Lauren, Kevin and your big “sister” Sookie Bear (American Bulldog)

In Loving Memory of Jim Clowry

Jim Clowry was a man owned by his bullies and his day revolved around their happiness. Every wrinkled beauty that came into his life trained him well and he made no bones about the fact that they ruled his world, got extra butter on their toast and ALWAYS rode shotgun. There were many wiggling butts waiting for him when he entered Heaven.

In Loving Memory of Bella

"The dog that made our family fall in love with bulldogs”

We were truly blessed to have Bella in our lives for the past 6 ½ years. Our one-of-a-kind little diva will be missed more than words can say. We love you Boo Boo Dinosaur.
-Jon, Dina, Leah, Jay, and your four-legged brothers- Niko and George

“A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?”

In Loving Memory of Holli

HSBR extends our deepest sympathies to the Miller family who recently lost Holli.

The Millers adopted Holli at age 8 and lost her this year at age 11. Rest in peace, Sweet Holli.
