By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

In loving memory of Babydoll

Dearest Babydoll....We knew we loved you the minute we saw you. The night of September 14th, you passed away, and we knew then we loved you far and above what we ever imagined. You came into our lives afraid to trust,and tested us often to see how we would treat you. We loved you unconditionally...Finally one day it clicked for you,and you knew you were in a safe place.  We had earned your trust. You then became your real Babydoll self.  A precious little bully girl. We had such good times together.  You loved cheese,treats,and most of all "bye bye" rides. We said that word and we best have our shoes on and be heading out the door with you. We would throw your little diva bed in the back of the Beetle Bug, and off we would go. You didn't care if we were going for coffee, to the pumpkin patch or to visit Grandma Betty at the nursing facility.  After all you did save her life the first week you came to live with us...You were truly Heaven Sent.  A gift. We will cherish our memories with you forever, and we will never forget you. You made a beautiful difference in our lives by being here and being part of our family. You will remain in our hearts forever.....How could you not, for your paw prints are all over them...

Sweet Boy Brutus-Our Little Bruty....Boy do we miss you. You gave Mommy 9 wonderful years; Daddy 6! We are so blessed to have had you Bruty. Jade, Cleo and Sylvio miss you very much as do we. Your spirit will live on in our hearts. We will always rescue a Bully as we did you...we know you would want it that way!!1 Once you have a Bully, you want no other! You were so great, I feel in love with the enntire breed. Until we meet again my freind, enjoy thoes treats and keep the sofa warm for me. "Shake that Bruty for me"
